In reply to Post #1603 Think the kicks to the leading leg could have troubled him
it was the reason he lost the fight IMHO his leg was dead
I see now he has said exactly that my leg was dead
if you notice he always throws his normally super accurate punches from that wide stance but he lost that wide stance by the 2nd round and his mobility and his punches were then missing the target
its certainly buggered up his career I would have though
so maybe the next big match would be Poirier v Diaz ????

In reply to Post #1601 Watched the fight. CM ahead for me until he got caught. Respect though, both guys excellent strikers, caught CM and finished him. Opposite to the first fight!
Think the kicks to the leading leg could have troubled him, didn’t think he was focused for me CM, did not look as sharp, the leg kicks could have held his attacks back? To be fair though, I don’t think they were overly powerful and not enough to do damage, saying that, I don’t feel them lol
I think he thought he could walk it and paid the price. Also the time out won’t help
3rd time, could go either way, both can finish, I would put my money on CM

In reply to Post #1601 Wow, missed it, will have to have a watch
I think Diaz did him like that in their first fight if I remember rightly?

In reply to Post #1600 Well Mcgregor was making excuses about being out of the ring too long but truth is he was beaten by the better man with a great tactical fight targeting his lead leg a good win !

In reply to Post #1597 Cracking fight that Gerry, pretty evenly matched although Hooker took the biggest shots!
Exhausted just watching it, brutal
I expect CM to be a couple of levels above these too. Dynamite in his left hand

In reply to Post #1592 Yeah, the division is stacked, just hope boxing politics dont stop them geting in with each other!
Unfortunately i cant see the Spence Crawford fight being made unless one moves promotional outfit, would be very interesting tho. I lean towards Crawford, but only because of the car crash and the fact that Danny Garcia just didnt pose enough of a threat to show Spence isnt carrying any damage, but is a proper 50/50!

In reply to Post #1591 Very similar thoughts to me mate on all counts
If Davis and Lopez meet it should be very interesting. Lopez has the reach and I thought he was amazing against Loma, timed him perfectly. Davis can land and when he does, Santa Cruz
Saying that, so can Lopez
Probably the most competitive weight at the moment followed by Crawford and Spence etc
All got to add up to some great fight nights though for the fans

In reply to Post #1590 Fair play to Garcia, was a good win and sickening shot to end it, but unless his defence improves, Tank and Lopez will walk through him and Loma will box his ears off. I think he stops Haney though.
I cant see Tank beating Lopez, he has good power but is a small Lightweight, I see Lopez doing the same as he done with Loma to Davis.
Very exciting division tho!

In reply to Post #1589 Nice one
Interesting fight, brilliant shot by Campbell in the 3rd was it, could have ended embarrassing that
Looks good Garcia. Not sure about the planted feet, looking to land the powerful shots, and he got hit a lot for me. Needs to up his game, there is some proper talent in that division
For me Davis tops the lot but it’s VERY close, some good fights on there way though
