Yes indeed got to step up the quality from now on. Even the previous that he’s fought before signing with Frank Warren are stronger than his last two fights. Not surprised to see the body shot ending it as that amongst a decent jab his is strength. Never got to see him afterwards but no doubt catch up with him soon and get his thoughts.

In reply to Post #1772 Frank warren is well known as a promotor who exploits his fighters as they all do unfortunately . Why do you think terry marsh shot him ! As i have said before and this is no disrespect to Nathan heaney as everyone that steps into the ring takes their life into their hands , he is a decent level fighter but is not going to set the world on fire , frank warren knows that so will get every penny out of him he can .But Nathan will know this he has been around the fight game all his life, At his age it will pass him by very quickly so hopefully he will get the win and carry on his dream.

In reply to Post #1770 Nathan would take a fight no matter who it is....He so does want to progress further but I guess Frank is picking the so called easier targets in order to bring in revenue and for that Nathan shouldn’t be thought of as a sign of him not wanting to progress.

Well aware that Nathan was signed up because he sells tickets therefore bringing in revenue. He’s got an opportunity to live the dream and if that dream falls short then so be it but for now we’re enjoying the journey. Certainly trains hard and if that alone isn’t enough then at least he got an opportunity to do what he thoroughly enjoys.....
Making a day of it in Telford then onto the boxing.....Good luck Nathan and hopefully he’ll put on a boxing performance which he does have in his locker....Either way just hope all boxers stay safe and return home healthy.....

In reply to Post #1767 I saw that, not really the signs of a fighter wanting to progress up the rankings. There seems to be more focus on his ring walk than his career imo

In reply to Post #1766 Gerry ,Heaney should do better they are certainly picking his opponents markov is really an mma fighter and has lost 7 of his last 10 boxing bouts, apart from dubois who will be interesting to watch after that injury its a pretty poor card.
