Yes definitely that one fight ending punch at his disposal. Can't criticise his power at all. But the track record you speak of is a rather padded one !!

I agree, probably done now?

One punch to end a fight and he was a master with a track record

Wilder is done Chris. Mark my words he won't be the same again if he continues to fight at all. Usyk beats him too. Way too smart for windmill. He's got power and heart. And absolutely nothing else.

I will maintain what I have said before. Fury is number 1 and Wilder is number 2 and below this there is quite a gap

I wish it would happen, my money would be on Wilder putting Whyte out in 2 and that's if he staggered through the first! slow hand speed, **** all movement and so easy to hit, target practice

What about the 2 years before Whyte lost to povetkin in which time he was still number one contender? The 2 years he basically fought bums plus Ortiz? He was swerving ,100%

I dont think Wilder was worried by Whyte, especially after watching Povetkin knock Whyte out.Whyte is a tough fighter and anything can happen in heavyweight boxing,I just think Fury will make him look silly. If Wilder can't KO Fury I can't see how Whyte can,it is going have to be the punch of his life.He definitely deserves his chance though

How much do you honestly think he made from fighting brezeale for instance? Less than he'd have got for Whyte, the number one contender at the time when you factor in the ppv I'm sure. He didn't want it ,it's plain to see

I’m guessing Wilder gets a far bigger audience and payout by fighting another American, or Ortiz who massively outboxed him before the bomb landed, and not an English journey man (no disrespect but I hope you can see: my point)?

As for the heavyweight division, all I want to see is a British fighter, Fury, unify the belts, **** the yanks!

Who knows? But he clearly did. 3 years as number one contender, could have given one trick wilder a far bigger payday than the vast majority of the fights he took during that time, constantly being called out but making excuses not to right. My best guess is he knows he struggles against men who come at him rather than sit back to try and counter. Whyte deserved his shot then ,and thankfully he gets it now. Not that I think he wins , but he deserves to try. Fwiw I honestly think he'd beat wilder if he started fast enough to catch wilder before getting tagged himself, which isn't out of the question given the fury fights. He really isnt very good on the back foot at all

I don't care what you say but wilder avoided him

Why would Wilder avoid Whyte, probably one of the current heavyweights who people can land a glove on!

Fury has bet him once, what is the point?

And BTW, I like Whyte
