Hi
Registered for a while, so thought I would send my first post and say hi. Live in Suffolk and have been fishing for well over 25 years, just decided I wanted to concentrate more on dedicating time to Carp fishing having spent the last few seasons improving my general float, feeder fishing and fish handling with carp up mainly 10-15lbs with an odd one up to twenty. Already got some good tips on watercraft and tackle to help me get started and have a kettle now if anyone wanted to say hi on the bank.

Hi all
Just thought i would join the crazy gang. I am a middle aged carper (about 12 years experience) mostly fishing in the Somerset, Dorset area. Wonder if any of you guys ( and girls) ever fish this area. Thought i would register as i can do with all the help and tips i can get. Look forward to hearing the news and banter.

hi all my name is dean i live in essex been fishing on and off for 30 years, spent 10 of those as a skipper on a trawler and served 8 years as an rnli crew member, sold all my carp gear about 3 years ago BIG MISTAKE. i decided i miss it so much so started getting my kit sorted again for this year. well thats me and hi to all looking forward to reading hints tips an advice on hear and maybe helping other with advice and tips cheers!

Hello, my name is Cristian Mitrea, are from Romania and I was part of the Romanian national team of carpfishing 4 years, I have 4 the World Championship (Belgium, Portugal, Serbia, South Africa) have two national championship titles, a world vice-champion title and a world record amount in a contest for 100 hours (1016 kg - Maconka - Hungary 2005). I live in the UK in October 2012 specifically in Luton and I would like to find some lakes where I could fish and also to know can I enroll in an open competition. Hello all, new to this site but been going through a few threads and i am finding it very informative, i have fished since i was 10, i am now 42, mainly flyfished for trout and grayling, but had a few times here and there general coarse fishing, had a go mainly for carp from august last year and plan on fishing for mainly carp this year, also regular lure angler for perch and pike, mainly the colder months, look forward to a lot of learning.
