only been going after carp for 2 months now but mainly after small medium sized fish upto mid 20's

I know it's a different world now, but fishing for two months and after small to medium mid 20's..........
Don't get misled by the comics/Facebook/whatever, 20's are still big fish. Catch a 40 now, and where do you go from that? It took me at least 6 months to catch a 30

Hello All!

Stoke-on-Trent carper here! Been fishing on the carp scene for about 6 years now but I took a 2 year break until now whilst I focused on building my business empire! Itching to get stuck right back in and put the long hours and homework in whilst I prepare to fish in the Prince Albert in January!

hello all just started carping this year extremely new to the carp world , only been going after carp for 2 months now but mainly after small medium sized fish upto mid 20's caught an 16lb 2 the other week which dont think bad going considering a newbie .

currently just bought some small water carp rods 2.25 lb as only plan for small waters at moment and running fox eos 5000 with 10lb line for the moment . before had been using avon type rods and ledger or float fishing fairly close in mainly using pellets , maize and groundbait . been successful using method feeders been using the esp mega feeder and using pva mesh threaded onto hooklink .

Check out the non carp section, someone on there that's asking for info about living in canal boats, I'm sure you'd be a great help and you might start to make some mates.

Hi all, joined a couple of months ago but have only now got round to posting for the first time. Been fishing only 4 years and now hooked on carp fishing although a complete novice. Came to fishing late in life (I'm 50) in spite of living on a narrow boat for the last 10 years! Have found it to be the finest thing for the soul.☺ Anyway, that's me. Hope I can input from time to time as well as ask for advice.
