In reply to Post #103 Have you watched the official fox video for the bivvy? It's so simple to put down I don't get how these people got it wrong!
They're probably social media RS fan boys trying to get more people buying a RS for a pot of pop ups from trakker......

In reply to Post #102 The 2 examples I have seen the users tried to force the legs back then moan the gear is damaged
You had to make me watch the video again Given what you're saying it's not the bivvies fault imo, it's operator error....but... the strength & selling point of the Mk2 was the ease of putting up & taking down. A lot of people will be migrating from the earlier version, I can see them doing what they've done before and are used to doing, I'd of designed that potential error out of the mechanism*, and Fox should have done the same.
*single lift of the tag should disengage the arms too, not require a double lift.

In reply to Post #101 You can't compensate for thick people who can't move a lever up and down to put a bivvy away......

In reply to Post #98 Metal alloy thats not fit for purpose then. As Andy says it will be set up and put away in rain, wind and even darkness so user error should be engineered out if its that easy to break. Its a pointless design thats totally over complicates its intended use to save a couple of seconds over a tried and tested tempest block. It also relies on a plastic lever and pin with two little hooks to hold the pin in place. There was another post where the skull cap had the velcro sewn in the wrong place so it couldn't be attached to the main bivvy.
Its a complete disaster of a product launch they deem to be the worlds best bivvy 😂

In reply to Post #95 lets be honest, we could be packing these down in mud, rain, frost snow.....this block needs to be eay and fool proof and by the sounds and looks of it, theyre going to fail by the bucket load....people saying you can get spares too.....spares for a new bivvy...fox could suck my hairy plums if they think id buy a spare for a brand new bivvy
