Indeed. To be honest, there seems to be so many fish being caught all over the place (albeit not by me ) at the moment that I don't think the wind is having much of an effect anymore.

Looking nice during the day but bit chilly in the evenings.

They have stopped spawning on the lakes I can fish as well.

It's the same wind that's been around for weeks, showing no signs of abating.

Weather has turned here, but water temp is still above 18c.

They've stopped spawning on the two lakes I walked round today, but I think the wind has played a big part in that. The surface chop is strong.

Definitely going to be a 2nd spawning window when the weather allows.

I think you'll be fine mate, we've got a cooler spell coming in, maybe a touch of ground frost.
Loads of places in Cheshire shut as Carp spawning. Personally I find the cooler spell a bit worrying, likely to lead to stop some fish spawning until it warns up again, whether they'll stop full stop and ger their heads down agai n or keep swimming round together/stay near spawning areas is another matter!

Was watching the bream at my syndicate spawning in the edge last weekend. It was some sight watching the carp move in shortly after and hoover up all the eggs
