In reply to Post #6 Always makes me chuckle the word "sacrifices" with these full time anglers. Yeah, must have been a right sacrifice creaming the system and smoking weed all week under a piece of nylon sat next to a pond.
Only people that make sacrifices in carp fishing are those blokes holding down a full time job, family and bills to pay.

My miss spent youth, is there more to the content of the book than literally a youth spent carp angling if no then Darrell should have got out more or as title suggests is there accounts of sex, drugs, gang membership maybe prison time it's just I can't get past the title and find it uninviting. Yes he can catch carp but I feel I could be in for a bore fest without a decent review on it.
