Not sure if any are doubles but swim 9 and 10 are the only swims close enough together for a social, if you got to there website you can download a map with depths and swims on.

Guys the final results from this years Forces Carp Classic (5 - 12 Oct) were as follows:

1. 214 fish caught in total.
2. 205 Mirror & Common carp caught to 67lbs from Fox & Humpy
3. 9 Catfish caught to 107lbs from Kingfisher
4. 4803lbs 15ozs of carp caught to 31 pairs
5. 8 pairs blanked out of 39 total
6. Winning pairs weight from Fox at 592lbs from peg 6
7. Second place weight from Wildboar at 582lbs from peg 1 (on the whistle they had a twenty which they thought had won it for them..!!)

How close is that after a WEEKS fishing...!! Rock on Abbey, fantastic venue...!!

A great weeks total from all 5 lakes on the Abbey Complex.

See you all there next June & October...

Hi mate,
Fished kingy last yr in April swim 1.weed not too bad generally but quite bad around margins.
I used a dinghy to find the clearer spots just off the marginal weed in about 10-15 ft of water.
Did quite well usin a bucket of mixed particle and crushed boilies over a couple of rod then a handful of boilies over each spot.
Had most fish on a stack of maize,2 fake 2 real.only about 2 of 11 takes on cell boilie.
The weed did seem to grow/move around in the margins and spots I fished in the early part of the week became unfishable towards the end and because it wasn't quite to the surface if I hadn't have been out in the boat I may not have realised especially if I'd been usin a Baitboat without a fishfinder.

Hi guys. The Winter syndi starts on the 16th Nov and runs until the 15th March 2014. For the first time, It'll include Feb as well this time round. A 4th rod is permitted but there is a time limit of 7 days in any one swim. All the usual facilities will run as per normal this year too, with the exception of the clubhouse which'll just be open for 2hrs in the morning and again before dark in the arvo's....
