I can only imagine Wilder will be a broken man when he steps through those ropes

I for one miss the old showmanship, disappeared about the same time as boxing died a death in this country, getting better but nowhere near back to where it should be, nowt wrong with a bit of panto for the punters.

That was brilliant, the first couple of conferences anyway. Got a bit stale towards the end. Connor is pushing hard for a rematch too.
Anyone watching his return to the cage this weekend?

It's quite comical, but also quite put on I think. There is a vid clip from the London one this week, back stage, where they are laughing and joking and wilder even congratulating tyson on his weight loss. All very friendly

Maybe but he did say he definitely wasn't retiring. Whatever he does, I think his days as a world level contender are over

Think there are a few options for groves now, but all from below him in the rankings.. Plenty of up and coming fighters looking for a name on their record. He's not looked the same fighter since froch ko'd him the second time imo. Move up to light heavy to rematch degale (can't see a bigger money fight for him anywhere else), and then hang the gloves up would be about the best he can do now I reckon
