In reply to Post #3033 In my opinion. It all went down hill for AJ after he fought Parker. Parker was the 1st fighter who didnt stand and trade shots with AJ. AJ had to chase him around the ring and actually box rather than slug. He realised soon after than he isnt that good at boxing. For years he relied on his fearless agression and power with very limited actual boxing skill. He then started going on about "learning the sweet science" changing his approach to try and learn how to actually box. He had a wobble in the dressing room before the Ruiz fight, some say he had a panick atrack, he said he was mentally drained which makes sense. His body language on the ring walk was all off aswell. He then gets clipped hard by Ruiz and no one had hit him like that before eventually losing the bout. I think AJ has alot of voices in his head, he seems to of lost his charactor we saw in his early career, the loss against Ruiz has rattled him. He lost his head in the ring after the Usyk fight. For a guy who used to preach about "staying humble" he certainly didnt follow his own advice. Now looking at AJ in the build up to this Wallin fight. He doesnt k ow what charactor he wants to be, the bad guy, the good guy, the quiet guy, the loud guy? He hasnt got a clue what his identity is anymore. He was very blunt in the interviews and just kept saying... im focused... im focused. Sounds to me like he is just acting.
As for this fight.... i think its the last chance saloon for him, it aint going to be easy against Wallin who is an akward southpaw. AJ will have to go sh*t or bust and go all out aggressive.

In reply to Post #3035 Probably pinning his hopes on Wilder has gone, what is he 43 now, power is the last thing to go. He has more of that than Joshua and faster hands!
To be fair I hope it does happen, it would be a very interesting watch

In reply to Post #3034 oh no matter what the outcome
Im convinced Joshua WILL fight wilder as the ppv sales in the USA will probably break records And restore wilders fearsome reputation when he knocks out AJ
back before AJ got knocked out by Andy he probably had a real good chance but that boats sailed now he is gun shy and scared

In reply to Post #3033 Agree
Imagine if he had the aggression or iron Mike but more importantly could box and move! Dangerous fight that against OW, can’t afford any slip ups there
I wish Parker would win but he is certainly up against it there with the bronze bummer
If the results happen as expected I wonder if Joshua will eventually have the balls to step through the ropes against Wilder, that will be a contest of two hammers and if he wins that, unlikely, he may restore some real credibility setting him up for a Fury fight?

In reply to Post #3032 I think Joshua should go to a hypnotist and get drummed into him you wont be scared of being hit
you wont be scared to commit to actually throw punches like your not scared to death etc
and just hope his corner tells him the truth
I can see Parker getting sparked

Some big heavyweight fights coming up
Wilder vs. Parker
Joshua vs. OW
Dangerous fights for Parker and Joshua for me!
I bet Wilder would love to fight USYK

In reply to Post #3029 Disappointed tbh, I thought in a couple of years time he could have been one of the best boxers to come out of this country for a long time. Seen a few of his fights, leaves himself square open at times and lacks timing if I am being ultra critical, let’s hope he keeps boxing and he certainly should!!! Maybe another trainer takes him to another level
And… Rodriquez can’t make that weight for much longer, when he steps up he will lose

0H wow Peter McGrail was completely dominating and outboxing Ja'Rico O'Quinn who he knocked down twice then in round 5 got caught by a one punch knock out gutted

In reply to Post #3027 Should be a great fight, can’t beat those lighter fighters for some intense action. I used to really like his brother, Charlie, nasty little ****er who liked a tear up
I have to go with Edwards, up the Brits, but it is a pretty much an even fight for me, on paper lol, styles make fights though
Fights like this, everything is on the line though, somebody’s “0” has got to go!

Rodriguez Vs Edwards
IMO one of the most important fights of the year this weekend
Both have world belts to lose both have no losses gonna be a hell of an ask from Sunny his biggest challenge by an unbeaten heavy handed southpaw with 7 inch reach advantage
live on DAZN in the USA
Expected ring walk 04.00 ish so set your alarms or like me will stay up and watch the undercard from around 0100 think it is

In reply to Post #3025 I like that lad, wears his heart on his sleeve so to speak, likes a fight
TBH i saw him as a British champion level, so can’t knock the lad at all. Not the best defense or movement, powerful and likes a war which could be his downfall against a quality boxer. I thought the same, was blowing early and just didn’t seem at the races for me, took far too many unnecessary punches in that fight trying to walk him down, lucky he got the stoppage because he was down on points for me by quite a way
Don’t think there is an easy fight when you are knocking around that level though, unless you are very special
Easy to pass comments when you are not on the end of it

In reply to Post #3024 Don't know much about CBS but he looks a big fecker for sure, also looked out of breath far too early, couldn't see him lasting long in with the best.

In reply to Post #3022 Poor performance from CBS that, tried to walk him down and got his head boxed off. Thought the last couple of body shots looked to hurt the Pole, took the wind straight out of his sales, then doesn’t come back out for the next round, can only think his ribs have gone

In reply to Post #3022 Given that every ring walk could be their last, and they are risking their life for others entertainment I'd say let them do what they want
