In reply to Post #715 I wonder how many people booked it to fish for the cats and now have to put up with them being removed?

In reply to Post #714 I'm booked on for next year and I was looking forward to catching some big cats if I could...
Will have to make do with the carp then!

In reply to Post #713 Kingfisher was a catfish lake when I fished it... It was always known as the cat lake. Its always done decent carp too. There's plenty of 50s and 60s come out of there so it's done the carp no harm imo

In reply to Post #712 It doesn't do the carp any favours, of course it doesn't effect the catfish growth. Most carp anglers don't want to be catching kittens either when the bloody things breed. If you want to catch cats fish a lake catfish lake or the Ebro.

In reply to Post #711 Cats in a carp lake don't work? Hasn't done them any harm in there so far. Plenty of big fish coming out. Real shame they are removing the cats, was considering another go for them myself next year.

In reply to Post #709 Thats the plan. They have plenty of other lakes and they are going into one of these. Watch the weights of these KIngy carp fly now that they get to eat all the boilies that go in there. Catfish in a carp lake doesn't work.

In reply to Post #709 Be a shame if they are, it's awesome seeing them hitting bait fish on summer evenings. Be some job removing them all, there are plenty in there. I know a few have found their way into wild boar which they are trying to get out

In reply to Post #707 Ye noted. We will see what happens.

In reply to Post #706 Never have, but they are were ravenous on there last summer apparently. I was on wild boar and was told there weren't any, and my mate was getting hammered by them by the second day, I managed to go 4 days before they found my spots. The lads who were on atilla were moaning about them, and a couple of Dutch lads had problems when they fished it earlier last year. Sounds like they are on all lakes there now

What on atilla. Never suffered on other waters ?? When was last time u fished Attila

In reply to Post #704 Make sure you take plenty of hard hookbaits etc, the crays can be horrendous at times

Ye I will update. July 8th. I’m there.

In reply to Post #702 It's definitely no runs water these days, even wild boar lake can be moody at times. Wasn't much coming out from atilla when I was there last year, the lads on it seemed more intent on getting hammered than catching though tbh

In reply to Post #701 Will be interested to hear how you get on. My mate has booked it thinking it is a runs water, I'm getting the impression thats not the case now either. Hopefully you fill yer boots and give us something to look forward to!
