I found the 3.5lb absolutely fine mate.My Harrisons 3.25lb are clearly better quality, but I'm a very average caster and I found hitting similar distances with the greens really easy.Had a couple of fish on them and felt pretty good too, having expected them to be like broom handles, they definitely weren't.

I bought a set of these for using in France (not actually been yet though), used them a few times and they seem fine, not as nice to play fish on as my Terry Hearns 3.25’s but I never expected them to. Had fish to upper twenties that have had to be ‘coached’ out of weed beds and they dealt with them perfectly. Not really had to hit a lead with them but up to 100yds they’ve been fine with 3.5oz leads.
Really can’t complain for the price, they seem quite light for factory built rods in that price range.

Any more reviews on these rods? I'm looking at an all rounder 12ft 3.5tc most likely.

Thanks

Hi

How do you find the 4lb for playing fish close in?

I mainly fish pva bags and managed to shear the tip off of one of my Nash Pursuit 3.5lb. But I always found them a bit soft. So considering three of the 4lb12ft Greens as a replacement and will sell the two undamaged pursuits I have left.

Thanks

Ashley

To anyone who has used both, how do the greens stack up against the Sonik Vader X RS?

I’ve got a set of the 12ft 4lb rods for my syndicate.
They are great rods for the money and get me the distance I need

I got rid pretty quick in the end.

I found the 3lb too soft, I could only accurately get a 2.5 Oz lead about 60 yards. I probably should have got a higher tc to start, but ended up going with something else instead that I've been very happy with.

The Green was nice to play a fish on though

Brought a set of the 12ft 6 in June and really like them. Can really punch a lead out with them and not like a broom to play fish on.

Anymore longer term reviews on the kaizen greens ? A friend is looking at some 12ft 6 for distance fishing.

Anyone fishing with these rods in 3.5 tc looking at buying a full set up and they suite my pocket although I’m not a fair brass fan boy. I am torn between 3lb and the 3.5.

I've used mine a couple of times now, I went for 3lb 12ft.

Cast really well up to about 70 yards with a 2.5oz lead and play fish well too. May get a bit further with a bigger lead, but that's not what I wanted them for.

YAC only had two in stock and they've just taken a new delivery so I'll be popping over to pick up my third rod this week or next.

Price vs performance - I'm well chuffed 👍.
