Not many wealthy people get that way by accident.

I don't agree with the rule, but at the prices they are charging and the amount of bait that goes in across the complex it must have been too hard to resist.

Looks like Abbey will now only let you use particle bought from site. Hard to enforce over so much water but it will make them a few quid.

Hi all due out onto Heron in a couple weeks. first trip to France so can someone give me an idea on how much bait to take? thinking particle and about 20kg boilie and about 5kg pellet.

also i will be cheeky and ask if anyone has any tips for the lake or is there "Going " swims.

Had a fish hour after posting that weirdly!

Had 3 fish in total 54.10 39.12 and 28lb was 14 of us with 26 between us for the week

Currently day 3 into a week on heron im in peg 21 with not a lot happening . There is swim free, Isit worth a move or am I missing something out in front of me?

Also swim 20 is free so did consider moving into that bay but not sure first time here and got alot of water to fish too

Bricolage or any of the big hardware places sell particle its cheap also (might change when they realise the brits are buying it ) do not try to smuggle anything, not even pop ups

Yeah they do but only in 2kg tubs for €8 and there is 8 of us going so we’re thinking about getting bulk load

Hi All,

New to the forum, due to fish Heron lake in August for week, usually take all boillie and monster particle with us but with new customs rules this isn’t possible, does any moody know of anywhere you can buy/order bulk particle on route or close to abbey

Just had the email from Evelyne.............. Obviously our trip at the end of march needed moving so was offered what's available. Unfortunately nothing suited us until may 2023 so that's when we are now going. Must be a nightmare for them as its one hell of a lot of bookings to keep shifting around. Im happy we've been treated as fairly as is possible.
