Lots of anglers coming from Fox, Nash, Gardner, etc. sometimes struggle because the Delkim system behaves differently.
And some just can’t get their head round them & give up defeated.
I recall a bad workman blames his tools.
And of course no top anglers use delkims…whatever a ‘top angler’ is these days…

I just sold my txds and got atts , a lot of top anglers use stevie nevilles and atts that says enough

There's loads available second hand and Delkim are already on their third go at a Digital Delkim in a relatively short time. Does that tell you anything?
I tried the TXI-d's, convinced that they would be great and backed up with superb customer support, too many lost fish and I lost patience ( I did contact Delkim, they responded with a defensive written email and gave advice on setting them up which I followed) and sold them, upgraded to a set of ATT's - at least they work when you get a bite.
A friend recently picked up some V2's, after years of Delkim TXI+ ownership, he regrets selling the TXI's... The shop was willing to take them back and he's waiting for some RX+'s to arrive.

I had the v1's and now the v2's..I think both times I set the tone at home then just used them (I did set the colours on the v2's too) but, the only time I change any settings is if there is a need for it..like fishing to snags or avoiding false beeps..In my mind it's better to have the option than not. I do have the instructions downloaded to my phone but I rarely need them, you could also print it out and keep it in your alarm case if you wanted. (I used to keep my Prologic SMX instructions in the case for if I ever needed to re-pair them).

It’s a bit like bait boats deeper have launched a less complex version of the quest, though that said hopper is smaller.
If you like all the extra features spend more, but if tech not your thing you now have that choice from delkim.
I went from 1999 txis to txi Ds a few years back

Definitely. It's £150 and for that you get a number of extra features which are A) not complicated and B) genuinely useful in my opinion. As I say, the idea that they are complicated is overblown in my experience. Those extra features might not be things you care about so have a look at the comparison and a think, and if you don't think they are then save £150.

I have the V2s having been a long term RX+ owner. I was always put off by thinking they were complicated. But honestly I don't find them complicated at all, and in practice any of the more "involved" adjustments, e.g., beep speed, are not things you do very often. Once you've done it a couple of times, you'll wonder why you ever thought it complicated to be honest...
My friend has the new EV Rs and they are only more simple when it comes to those kinds of adjustments because they don't have the feature. It's just that in the real world you won't find yourself making those changes unless you're at home with the manual, and even then, once you've done it a couple of times you'll not need the manual again as I say.
The difference in price is about £150 for the presentation set. I think that £150 is well spent on the V2s because of all the extra features. In short, the idea that the V2s are really complicated is just not the reality when using them in the real world. I basically set them up once and have only adjusted the dials since, besides tinkering with the beep speed every now and then - which is child's play to do and you only need glance the manual should you ever forget.

Anybody got any experience / opinion on these? My current Delkim TXi’s are reaching end of life having been battered for the best part of a decade and am unsure what to get next. TXI-D V2’s just seems unnecessarily complicated so don’t really fancy that option.
