Bought it too for leader material when using braid main line. Seems good and would make good boom material.

I’ve been using Korda IQ2 in 25lb with great success. It’s fairly supple to sit over the contours of the lake bed but stiff enough to reset and kick away from the lead on casting. I’ve been using the XS Korda Krimps and 6’ hooklink lengths 😎

If you go on total fishing tackle they have avid outline Fluoro in 25lb for £1.99 a spool. It’s fantastic stuff I use it for my booms for combi rigs and ronnies I can’t fault it. I’ve bought 10 spools to last me 👍

This stuff doesn't have the problems you mention:

Pole Position kick back boom & chod filament.

They are trading in the uk now, so you should be able to get it. Rather cheap too. I think compared to the amnesia mentioned and korda stuff you use, you should be aware this is much stiffer, which could either be an advantage or disadvantage for the rig you use.

For most of my fishing i use the 20lb clear amnesia prefer it to the flouros i have tried, on the odd occasion i have wanted something stronger i have use kordas xt snag leader which is very good and like the amnesia easily pulls straight

Mainly in clear but use black if fishing over silt

Ive been using Kordas 25lb flurocarbon boom material for a while, even started using it in 35lb as Im sick of the 25lb twisting and losing its shape. Not even a kettle will fix it.

I wanted to ask for recommendations on alternative materials/providers that still offer good properties for resetting if/when the rig is picked up (which likely happens a lot) and pushes away from the lead.

I saw an ad for PB Products jelly wire. Has anyone used it or comment if this could be a suitable replacement?

I use the boom in conjunction with a Ronnie rig using the ESP Ronnie clips and also for a multi combi rig.
