Ive tried using these hooks with a flouro d rig, theyre identical in shape to my usual mugga hook but slightly longer in the shank to the eye.

i tie this up with .37 seaguar ace hard flouro, whipping knot to form the d and about 7 inches long, bit of putty 2 inches from the eye of the hook.

I fish this with either a wafter or bottom bait but drilled out and corked, not so its a wafter but just takes a bit of the weight away..

it turns really fast and hooking is bottom centre almost every time.

the spinner hooks touch up well after a fish if that's your thing.

I think that extra length in the shank what makes it so good

just thought id share this for anyone wanting to try the flouro d rig for use with bottom baits or wafters
