Just for clarity, and I stopped using them many years ago as I no loger make popups, I assume you mean 10% by volume and not weight!

If you have a mix that’s fairly light then about 10% 3M microspheres should do it. Be warned they are unpleasant stuff to deal with. I always add them to my powders outside and wear a decent ffp3 mask.

Personally I prefer corkballs

Cork ball and the same base mix
I use the dough that remain in the nozzle to make it exactly as the bottom baits.

Loads of shrimp meal if you use it. They’ll pop up then.

Depends on how close a match you want. I add any ingredients I think add to the taste and colour of my bait such as liver, yeast, spices, taste enhancers, etc to an equal volume of cork granules. I then add this to a proprietary pop up mix. I then add flavours and eggs. I find I use approx one part of my mix to 4 or 5 parts by volume of pop up mix. I look for a paler pop up to my feed baits.

What are you using to create pop-ups from your bottom bait base mix? I have settled on corkballs after trying cork granules and commercial pop-up mixes combined with my base mix. Are there any other options for turning my basemix into pop-ups that closely match my bottom boilies?
