In reply to Post #14 Looks like Vortex Baits are no long selling items via their website so it's Dynamite Baits for me now. Might suit me better as I only fish short day sessions and need maximum attraction.

In reply to Post #17 I've purchased some Forgotten Flavours garlic & cheese popups and Christ on a bike! They absolutely stink and the smell lingers for ages. Bad move opening them in the kitchen...

The glugged up dynamite ones stink. Haven’t used them for carp but have caught barbel and bream on them so no reason they wouldn’t catch.

In reply to Post #2 They work as a hookbait for anyone on a water that responds to that kind of bait. Go for it.

Would tc1 from Mark work as a hookbait for you?
Re freebies, the water I'm on has a nut mix ban so I was thinking on my way there is there was a decent milk based cheese bait for this winter. Be interesting to see how you get on

Used to do really well on home rolled birdfood/milk protein boilies with Richworth blue cheese, Nutrabaits garlic oil, sweet cajouser, and Nutramino. These days I simply don't have time to roll and my fishing time is limited to day sessions only.
I'm looking for a decent ready made cheese and garlic boilie. Vortex Baits and Dynamite Baits both offer what I'm looking for but the Vortex Baits version seems to look the better of the two to me. Before I take the plunge does anyone know of other alternatives?
