I have a set of four Bionic 10ft teles 3.5lb for boat work. Bought last sept £45 each delivered!! They are the bargain of bargains. A joy to play fish on with a parabolic action that is great with braid. I've landed carp to 50+ and cats at well over 80lbs. I've only used them in the boat so I have no idea how they cast, but I'm pretty sure they could throw 100yrds.

Hi mate
I started a thread on 10ft rods for similar circumstances. Have a look there's some good options in there. I'm dropping from a boat and the best rods for about 100 quid is the free spirit Helicals. There's obviously cheaper options out there !!

After a cheap set of 9 or 10ft rods primarily for a trip to France, big public water and using a boat to drop the rigs. Fishdeal have the 10ft Ultimate Bionics which looking at previous threads seems a half decent budget option but before I hit the button has anyone got any feedback on these rods?
If I do use them back in the UK, it will likely to be for bag work but only out to 80 yards, would the 3.25 be OK for this or would the 3.5 be the better option.

Thanks
