In reply to Post #4 I believe everyone thought Pruteen was the magic ingredient at the time, I used to put my hook baits in a hot place, top of radiator, and they used to ooze a sticky goodness. Is this still available is the question, you could also test the baits as mentioned

I guess the sourced flavours and attractors may of changed a bit as #2 says but always been a bloody good bait since they started and still is. A shelf life is a shelf life and not just for Christmas. I hardly ever fish as am away a lot and still using last few out of a kilo bag I won off Bob Baker and Greg playing pool in the bar at Farlows against Ritchie. None of 'em were happy, bag must of been £4.50 back then. Anyways I'm still using them as Singles in my little corners and they've bagged me a kipper or two I can tell thee

In reply to Post #1 Still rolled to the same recipe by Mistral baits who bought out Richworth a few years back
But I've recently only had experience with Frozen. Wouldnt of thought the shelf life's would be any diffrent.
You'll probably get a few people come on here and say it's not the same
Can't get the ofigiinal flavour anymore the ingredients have changed etc. But the frozen still look the same, smell the same and still give out that boozy smell and sticky to touch after a few days. I'd use with confidence..

Hello guys. I read some threads posted in 2022 re Richworth Tutti Frutti Shelf Life. The comments back then were very negative, but I wondered if things might have improved since then. I want to use a fruity bait when I go to The River Lot in Sept, and because I'm old school, I have good memories of the bait. In the last six years things may have changed. Any help or info would be great. Thanks lads Richiethespod
