Carp in the Tame at Kingsbury ..

The Cole is a tiny river and runs through Birmingham so not the best for access or safety .

Too much fish theft that goes on it makes people paranoid .

I was asked several times if I was from Sutton .. I told them I lived in Solihull and was told that was miles away so why was I fishing shard !!
Its 7 miles down the road ...

I've fished it a few times...

The lads that fish it are very protective of it and do a lot of work on it. . I've found some of them to be sound but one or two absolute vile ...

I was up there the other day having a walk around and they have now built a peg on one of the islands with Astro turf and scaffold poles which made me laugh .

It's a cracking lake but is a park lake in a tough area so you take what comes with the territory .

You should walk a bit further round the corner and look at Babbs mill lake kingshurst . I've had some lovely fish from there but sadly couldn't bring myself to fish there again after the young lads drowned under the ice a couple of years ago .

So my partner has recently moved house and there’s a carp lake not far from from hers, which is a 11 minute walk
Has anyone fished it or any up to date info on it it’s a nice area where she lives so I presume it’s ok to fish
Thanks in advance
Neil
