In reply to Post #12 I tried them with Penn rival 6000 blacks. They're a little longer than my XTC's are but width about the same.

In reply to Post #15 Just had a look at that, theres a video, looks like decent sized reels are used too

In reply to Post #1 I've got the Cult tackle one, it's plenty big enough, my rods having 40mm Rimgs and I use 8000 Baitrunners on them and they are lost inside.
It's got an outside pouch and strap that I use for my Spod Rod in a cult single sleeve and Banksticks and just strap a net to the back of it, a nice compact package.
The only thing I don't like about it is there is literally no padding on it at all, it's just a single ply nylon, but it's was £30 from memory and I'm using cheap Ultimate Bionic Rods so not too fussed, if I was using kit that was a bit more precious I'd definitely be looking for something else.

I also use the latest ESP Quickdraw 3 rod holdall, it's probably the best holdall I have owned for space and ease of fitting rods/reels since it has 3 separate rod sections, each with an individual zipper.
Both the ESP and Sonik extractable rods I own fit and easy to fit big pit reels and 50mm rings.

In reply to Post #7 2nd vote for the Trakker NXC-R
Good amount of room but compact too

In reply to Post #1 I use the ESP QuickDraw 3 rod hold-all with Shimano 5500s, I like it as the reels go in face down with plenty of room.

In reply to Post #11 Good feedback mate
Out of interest, what reels are you using?

In reply to Post #10 I found both the Speero and the Korda one tight around the reels - bail arms stuck out quite a bit and was a faff making sure they were facing towards the blank to help sliding them in.
Like I said, I tried a few 😂😂

Like the look of the Speero Retractable Rod Bag DPM, looks like the Cotswold stuff that I have. Anybody using the one for retractable rods, will I get a decent sized reel in there?

In reply to Post #7 Daft question, will these fit the Scopes with reels?

In reply to Post #1 As mention the, the Cult tackle one.ihave the two rod version and manage to get two rods with big pit reels in one side. The other side holds another rod woth a few other bits thrown in there. Throwing stick etc. Brilliant holdall at a good price.

In reply to Post #1 Trakker NXG or NXC 10ft 3 rod retractable rod sleeve is decent plenty of space best one I've found

In reply to Post #4 The cult ones offer less protection than the sleeves, but the are massive

In reply to Post #3 They look cracking for the money, says 50mm butt ring and big pit too

In reply to Post #2 I think Aqua made something similar at one time. Look OK but I would like a bit more protection if possible

In reply to Post #1 I have a couple of the Cult holdalls (i have 2 sets of 10ft retractable rods) amd they are ideal. Plenty of room so I am not squeezing them in and enough padding to give me confidence

In reply to Post #1 I went through a few rod bags for 10fters. What ever rod bag I went for my previous Penn reel and currently XTC's didn't fit very well. So I have and ended up with 4 x Thinking Anglers rod sleeves and an ESP quiver which is also quite compact but can carry a 60" brolly, net, weigh sling etc.
Think the sleeves are only available from Prolite and they're not cheap, but I've been really happy with mine LINKY POO™ https://proliteexplorer.co.uk/product/thinking-anglers-camfleck-single-rod-sleeve/

So I have bought a couple of 10 foot scopes to keep in my van, paired these with a couple of Ultegra 5500. I bought a scope Ops holdall online, looks tidy and well made, the problem, really struggle to get the reels in, as a result, rods too.
Any thoughts, will it stretch, anybody else have the same problem, anything better out there ffs
