Just do what I have done over the years, make your own indicator bodies, it is not hard.
All you need to do is buy the chain and line clips you want, also weights if you think you need them, unless you want to use your existing bits which is what I do, then get a "tap" that matches the thread on the chain etc. Go on Ebay and buy some "PTFE" Teflon round bar rod, you can get it from 4mm to 100mm thickness in various lengths or some acrylic tubing etc which is a bit harder to work with as it cracks or splinters unless you go steady and tap it out to take the chains, line clips and weights. Also just drill out a small hole for an isotope etc and job is done
You could even use aluminium rod or tubing etc. Once you make some, it becomes a bug to improve on what you have.
Another thing I do is always have the weight at the top of the indicator, especially on short chains about 3", they detect drop backs better, otherwise, once the indicator has dropped to the full extent of the chain, the chain takes the "weight" of the weight and then you only have the weight of the indicator to tip over and drop lower but slower.. I call them "Wobblers" rather than idicators as they seem to "Wobble" on your line with the wind etc....but they do work better.

In reply to Post #15 I have a set of Gert Ooms stainless hangers that weigh 58 grams each without chains or line clips. There was a set on EBAY, but just looked and they’d gone.

Nothing wrong with the old fox swingers. I use a set when I’m fishing a tidal river, sliding adjustable weight. Stood the test of time.

In reply to Post #12 Even more carpy than putting tungsten in and around the hangers?

In reply to Post #1 Depends if it’s a short term need - if so just put a quick link on the cord and hang a lead - proper Carpy in the short term

Can you still get tension arm indicators, like the Solar Quiverlok?
|
|

In reply to Post #2 Don't think so because the safeliner mk1s are a bit of rope/string that is tied in a kint inside the indicator which is what secures it. Different to the MK2s which I could get but don't think they go very heavy on the weights.

In reply to Post #1 I'm not familiar with safeliners but couldn't you use something like the Solar indicator weights between body & chain?

Need some heavy hangers, what do people recommend? I use the MK1 safeliners usually but can't add weight to them annoyingly unless I whack loads of tungsten putty in them I suppose 🤣
