In reply to Post #5 At least I can see what's happening or not so I know to stop or start. Good reply there thanks.

In reply to Post #1 With current temperatures I'd expect a frozen boilie to pop to the surface in about a week. The pellets will obviously have fallen apart by then, but still be starting to go manky. The particle tends to stay viable for longer, but when it goes it goes really horrid and can kill a spot for a long time. I did just that by feeding maize in during the winter, convinced that it would be getting eaten. It wasn't and that spot was ruined for months.

In reply to Post #2 Only 6ft maximum and bird life not on it yet very very low stock with I strongly believe no nuisance fish with what seems to be being caught atm I thought timing was about right.

In reply to Post #1 Not even getting polished of by bird life?
Its one of those things if its getting eaten great stuff, but this time of year might be a bit premature to start imho, had spots getting visited all through winter but never started this early.

Just starting some prebaiting with sweetcorn, pellet, boilies and chickpeas.....if it's not eaten how long before it would have a negative impact at this time of year anyone?
