In reply to Post #1 I use mine as an oven a lot with the roasting rack, good for heating up/cooking food in. When I make a cottage pie or similar at home I make an extra small one in a foil tray and freeze it for when needed. When on the bank wrap some broccoli spears in some foil and add them for the last 15 minutes and voila. Obviously anything else you cook in the oven like a chicken etc will work well, the roasting rack helps gives a more even cook in my opinion.
Another fav of mine is pork belly slices, with olive oil and sea salt, again on the roasting rack, 45 minutes to an hour and they are spot on. Other than that the 'frying pan' attachment is a great accessory for anything from burgers/steak etc to a full english.

In reply to Post #1 Last night I had Tescos hunters chicken bag of mixed veg and a garlic bread with a bottle of IPA, and it was spot on. But in all honesty it’s the first time I’ve taking it with me for a year or so. Shepards pie is nice on a cold night or half a Piri Piri chicken. Worlds yer omelette really

In reply to Post #1 We're in the same boat mate. The Mrs has been looking at youtube a lot, there are quite a few camping blogs with dedicated recipe sections within for the Cobb, quite a lot of god tips too.
There's a Yorkshireman who does some good side by sides, same dish different fuels/ways of making....if you can take him seriously, sounds just like Sean Bean

In reply to Post #1 I bought the rotisserie and use that for cooking whole chickens and other lumps of meat.
I no longer use Facebook but there is a great group on there that share ideas.
Pizza stone worth investing in for a quick meal.

Hi , I recently bought a Cobb (finally took old geezers advice)
I cooked the usual chicken and potatoes. They are fantastic for cooking a lasagne and the wok is superb for curries.
I’m now looking to try some more stuff , I saw Jim Shelley do a great lamb leg which I want to try but what else are people cooking on them ?
What’s your go too Cobb meal ?
I’m going to do some breaded chicken next time out but want a few ideas for the longer summer sessions
I will get the bbq setup also because that will be handy in the summer
What you cooking on them guys ?
