Just outside Mevagissey. I enjoyed fishing it but yes nothing big. Lovely surroundings. Going to fish another little lake nearby this week instead.

The catch app is still selling tickets for it so not sure how that would work...

Where are you staying? They used to do day tickets for locals even when the site was closed?

This place is about 2 miles from where I live. I fished it as a kid when it was called Trencreek. Anyway, it has three / four very small ponds. The 'main lake' as they call it is also small. I last fished it during Covid (when we were allowed to do days) and had a few single figure commons out. They were immaculate to be fair, but as Adam said in previous post, this area has been subject to otter predation for a long time. I know someone who had an 18lb common from there a few years ago but in all honesty, if you want fish of 20lb plus then this isn't the place for you. There may be a surprise in there but doubtful! Gets very busy in the peak holiday periods, strange rules like no boilies (I did ignore that rule when I fished it but it was winter and noone was around or checking). A good base for exploring Cornwall i.e. Eden Project & Heligan, local beaches but definitely not a place where you'll be catching whackers!

I'm currently staying 10mins away from this place - fished it last October. Lovely set of lakes - nothing big but some nice fish in there.

They are currently closed till mid March - I spoke to them today as I was planning a short session on Monday.

That's the one with the camping ,caravans on isn't it ...Holiday place ,I believe its got a lot of carp ,size wise I have no idea ,however I have seen pictures on the old website with carp with predation signs on their bodies..

This place not to be confused with Meadowside ,at Winnards Perch opposite nearly the Rettalick spa ,both of those lakes now lost to local anglers ,....

Why not have a crack at the local ressis?...( I won't touch any of them now due to Catch App and the discrimination of the booking fee ,and cashless ideology )..
