In reply to Post #12 Lucky you. I hire vans regularly and there are always issues. From minor things like AdBlue and screenwash down to engine faults and malfunctioning tail-lifts. If you receive a van with two wing mirrors intact, you've won the bloody lottery. Absolute joke of a company.

In reply to Post #9 I hire cars through Enterprise monthly and never had any problems, i always pick up and drop off from there depot.

In reply to Post #1 I'd avoid Enterprise at all costs, they'll deliver you a damaged vehicle with no fluids and try to charge you extra for the privelege!

In reply to Post #1 We hire a van couple weeks a year for French trips. Pay £550 for 9 days with euro cover and damage waiver. Small local firm in Essex called Allied. They do Sunday drop offs

I hire a van most years and on average pay around £600.

Looked into this 3 or 4 years ago for a week trip to France, struggled toi find anything much under £1K... ....from memory around £850 was the cheapest

try Lowestoft car hire and Enterprise.
I hired a van from Lowestoft car hire around 8 years to take to France but i paid a premium.

Hi, can anyone reccommend decent van hire for a french trip. Looking at 10 day hire (due to no Sunday returns).
Usually travel in own car but that's not an option this year so looking at hiring a van.
