In reply to Post #6 Wish, I'd seen this before going ahead with the ski-bits this is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. Will keep this as a backup plan for if the skigear doesn't work out

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. I bought her 2 different types of ski gear from Mountain warehouse to try, fingers crossed on it fitting.
Btw, there's a clearance on at the moment if anyone's interested

Imax do a small, my mrs has the small she's about 5'2 and it's still pretty roomy
Unfortunately buying this time of year prices are bumped up
And pretty hard to find.

Not cheap but ice breaker or woolpower make superb merino wool base layers. Ive just got back from skiing in italy and it was -18 and i wasnt cold. You also cant beat a hot water bottle and costs next to nothing.

In reply to Post #1 Not what you're asking, but if she really suffers have you thought about a heated gilet, the type Preston makes? There are others and cheaper, just do a search
Maybe have a look at what Ali Hamidi uses, he's a short fella. I can only see small in sizes, if the legs are too long a option may be to have them taken up, or, as someone else suggested, ditch the fishing type, then there's loads of options.

In reply to Post #1 Try and find out which one Alan Blair wears. He looks to be a small fella, so could be a suitable option?

In reply to Post #1 Maybe a skiing outfitters would have something suitable.

Hi all,
This winter I got a prologic thermal suit & it's done me really well over my sessions.
My partner was fishing with me during the summer, but she's someone who really feels the cold, so she isn't keen about coming along to spring winter sessions.
Can anyone recommend an equivalent to my thermal suit for her? Mine is a medium which looks to be prologics smallest size, but she's only 5'1''' & it's absolutely massive on her.
