In reply to Post #7 Thanks very much, appreciated
I went in to chat to the two old boys in Hastings tackle at the weekend, love that shop
I'm in lewes which is a reasonable trek but had thought i will have to just pop down to see what I can see
Other lakes are days only down there

I just sent you 2 guys some info.
Not sure if it's still correct, but there's a couple phone numbers....the mobile number was the same as the number I have on my mobile, so probably valid.
I fished one of the lakes for a day session a few winters back

In reply to Post #5 To be fair it on my list of things to do. Go and have a walk round or fish the day to get a few times and see if I can chat to anyone about it.
It's only about 15 mins from my house. Used to walk past it when I lived down there but wasn't really fishing at the time.

In reply to Post #4 Get yourself down there. Make a nuisance of yourself. You might find out all you need to know. Worth a shout. Obviously people keeping the details very close to there chest. Being direct might be the only way.. good luck..
