Some of the Katran braided hook links are semi stiff, I like Tuareg which is flexible but not soft.

You could just strip back some coated braid and give that a try?

DarkMatter or Armourlink (25) .
Used both, can recommend. 
Naturally they have some softness, but fish friendly and sink.
Or you could get something like TA Duo-Fleck (great stuff I use it for combi links) which is much stiffer , more bouyant, thinner, hence more mouth damage.

Hi all
Looking for a pure braid hooklink that is fish friendly but not too soft if that makes sense. If anyone can recommend one so I don’t have the hassle of buying loads and finding out for my self.
