I use the Flecktarn Goretex as recommended by Gerry on the forum, mainly as a over suit to other clothing. I also have a Deerhunter combo and I wear those trousers like combats if you will.

Have a look at the page below, New Forrest Clothing, they have a superb range of hunting and working waterproof trousers and their service is 2nd to none, I've been using them for a fair few years, their own range is very good value and it's worn and often reviewed by people who actually make a living from working outside

Go on Ebay and look for "German army flectarn waterproof trousers", made from "Seyntex" which is basically the same as "Goretex" and stops the Germans having to pay to use the "Goretex" trademark.

I have been using these for well over 12 years, extremely soft material and comfortable to wear and far better than British army Goretex trousers. Also a bonus as they have braces so they do not keep falling down or having to use a bungee as a belt to keep them up. Also fold down very small to pack away.

The jackets themselves are also excellent and well worth having.

hi people on the hunt for some waterproof trousers and could do with some help.

Currently considering and looking at Korda Drykore, or Catchdry unless someone can point me in a different direction. Don't mind paying a bit of carp tax as long as they do the job. Looked at the Solognac pair from Decathlon at about £45.00 but from reviews I have read people mention issues with comfort so I guess you get what you pay for right ?

cheers
