All waterways public and private closed now in that region due to Avian Flu and being rigidly enforced.
That area is a main avenue and stop of point for migratory birds and hopefully for the birds and fishing this will end soon.

Hi all

I don't have much info but just been made aware of lots of lakes being closed around the champagne region due to the bird flu issues, mainly around the northern great lakes it seems like du der.

If you're about to head that way it would be worth double checking first.

Some lakes in ther region seem to be open as normal, but not all.
