As a recruitment consultant, my work involves behavioral analysis. We use sophisticated software to precisely evaluate communication styles and personality traits based on interview data and communication from social media. By using scraper software, we can collect posts and comments from different sources, including deleted posts that have been externally archived. This data is then used to assess whether a person may be suitable for different demanding professional roles.
TCarper has been an active presence on the forum for a long time, and his communication patterns suggest underlying behavioral and psychological factors that may benefit from professional support. His reactions are often perceived as confrontational, even when intentions appear constructive. The following is a summary generated through our analytical software:
________________________________________
Integrated Personality Analysis Incorporating Background Factors
1. Impact of Early Adverse Experiences (Father’s Fraud) on Trust and Paranoia
Growing up with a father involved in fraud represents a significant adverse childhood experience involving profound betrayal trauma. This early experience likely established a core schema of mistrust and the expectation of exploitation in interpersonal and professional relationships. This foundational mistrust plausibly fuels TCarper’s paranoid ideation observed on forums. His recurrent accusations of competitors “stealing” his ideas, rather than engaging in normal competition, can be seen as a projection of this early betrayal dynamic onto current rivals. It creates a worldview in which others are inherently suspect and likely to exploit or harm him, justifying his hypervigilance and defensive aggression online.
________________________________________
2. Potential Maternal Enmeshment, Dependency, and Compensatory Grandiosity
Available information suggests that TCarper lived with his mother during periods of adulthood and faced allegations of her direct involvement in his bait-making business. This dynamic, combined with the father’s absence or betrayal, may indicate enmeshment with the maternal figure, potentially hindering individuation and fostering underlying dependency needs. Such dependency, conscious or unconscious, contrasts sharply with the grandiose self-perception (“lone genius,” “master craftsman”) he projects online. This internal conflict may drive narcissistic defenses; the strong need to be seen as supremely competent and self-sufficient could be a compensation for unacknowledged dependency. Behaviors such as bullying competitors, asserting intellectual dominance, and rejecting external authority appear to serve as mechanisms for reinforcing a fragile, grandiose self-image against perceived threats or feelings of inadequacy.
________________________________________
3. Relational Dynamics (Girlfriend) as Narcissistic Supply and Control
The relationship with a much younger girlfriend from a different culture can, in this context, be interpreted as serving functions of narcissistic supply and control. Such relationships often involve inherent power imbalances, which may feel psychologically safer or more gratifying for an individual with deep-seated insecurities rooted in trauma and enmeshment. The younger partner may provide admiration and validation, reinforcing the grandiose self-image, while the power dynamic offers a sense of control potentially lacking in other areas of life or relationships with peers. This dynamic contrasts with the devaluation and demonization directed toward online critics and competitors, fitting a pattern of splitting where relationships alternate between extremes of idealization (providing supply) and devaluation (representing threat).
________________________________________
4. Trauma, Depression, and Aggressive Acting Out
TCarper’s self-reported history of depression and suicidal ideation points toward significant unresolved trauma. Complex trauma (C-PTSD) often manifests as emotional dysregulation, which may explain the disproportionate rage and impulsive aggression (including threats) observed in online interactions. Aggression can function both as a maladaptive coping mechanism for internal distress and as a defense against perceived threats within an environment viewed through a trauma-informed lens of pervasive danger and mistrust. His bullying behavior toward competitors and critics appears to reflect this dysregulation and defensive posture, representing an externalization of internal turmoil rather than constructive engagement.

In reply to Post #9 Put their money where their mouth is?? Bless you. Yet another ex customer of ours.... Was even sharing all our social media posts at one point. Had magazine customers to sell to. Ordered from us & instantly opened up a hook bait company selling very expensive cardboard pop ups five minutes later. It's a well versed little formula. Other magazine bosses have done the exact same thing. It's good to inspire people... Then afterwards have to listen to people like yourself Vossy telling me all about what's what.
I'll put my money where my mouth is. Real money. Anytime your friends Gio or Dieter wants £50k or £100k on the outcome with me.... All day everyday & twice on a Sunday I'll take their money off them. Ask them if they really want to put their money where their mouth is
Same offer applies to ALL of the rest. Absolutely any of them. I'm absolutely game.
I need a long break from the internet

In reply to Post #8 Trading of the back of nostalgia more than anything
From what I read, he's (FF) one of the few that put their money where their mouth is and actually have the old flavours tested and then try and recreate faithfully from what's available now. I have their secret agent flavour and it's very good, but who am I.
Just wish D would listen to feedback and start selling mixed pastel colour pots, I'll be dammed if I'm paying £57 to have all 3

In reply to Post #7 Had a quick Nosey. They are also doing Jacko pops as well. Forgotten flavours do a huge range of pop ups. There a bit like them old school sweet shops that were around a few years back. Trading of the back of nostalgia more than anything. But I'm sure there baits still catch there fair share.

In reply to Post #4 Thanks Guys
Seems like another company no longer doing bait mixes/flavours to home rollers, a real shame TBH, probably due to lack of home rolling demand and higher ingredient costs, EU Rulings, etc.
Fondly Remember the early 90's Solar their good/different views on 'cheap' birdfood bait, and mixmaster Attractors, and of course the original Squid & Octopus made people think about their bait, people moved off of the protein mixes, etc.

As far as I know, someone else did purchase the company many years ago now and Martin stayed on in a product development role. At that point the old Solar bait seemed to become no more. All the old mixes and the Solar pop ups were no longer. They did bring out new baits and also relaunched some of the old ones I think, but that as you say seems to have gone now too. I know Martin left recently, maybe that's why. The lad Jake who runs it for the owner has purchased our hook baits for a few years. He's a lovely bloke. Good angler too.
Lee Jackson asked me to roll a version of the Jacko pops recently, he still has a load of the liquids that went into those old Solar pop ups.

In reply to Post #1 You definitely don't hear anything about Solar baits these days. Didn't Martin Locke sell up a few years back? You only really ever hear about the tackle side of the business.
Didn't they branch out with a bit of a side project with bait at some point " Cherry bait " springs to mind.

Are Solar Tackle still selling bait ? Anyone know anything.
Just been browsing the main website and 24/7 shop and unless they are adding/changing stuff/tweaking the website/s, it does seem devoid of any bait & mixmaster products to buy.
