Thanks for taking the time for the responses guys.... Really appreciate it.

There's some stuff there that I hadn't thought of like the mud getting on the folded down part of the capsule.

The info about the vapour shield on the hide has confirmed what I'd guessed might be the case. I reckon the T1 will be my choice.

Thanks for the info

I have the hide XL and yes the vapour shield is pointless to a degree hence taking it out.
Yes it'll keep the condensation drips off you (tbh most of it runs down the sides)
But when trying to dry the bivvy off to pack down it's soaking wet underneath!
But for my fishing (mainly 24hrs) it's ideal, light, great size and height, has the vents, and multiple front options.
I would love the overwrap now coming into the colder months so it stops 90% of the condensation but I'll rather freeze than hand over 300notes to nash

I've got the t1 pro, it's a bit much for a quick overnighter, but i have been using it without the inner capsule recently which really cuts the weight down. I nearly bought a hide to go with it, but love it now it's stripped out.

The capsule is great for longer sessions, but due to the front lip, its a pain in the arse if its muddy as you cant get it out easily. It also get mud all over the rest of the bivvy when it packed down. I knew all of this before I bought mine so got the seperate ground sheet too.

I have a Titan T1 Camo Pro, which I've had since they first came out. Before that I had a Trakker Tempest.

I bought it for two main reasons:

1. I have weird allergic reactions to insect bites and so the inner capsule was a very compelling feature for me.

2. I loved the idea of being able to stand up in it to put on my trousers! I'm 5' 6" and can stand up in it with just the very slightest stoop.

Mates on my syndicate call it 'the hotel' which is a little unfair I think. It looks very big in a swim, but most of that is its extra height. The actual floor-print isn't that much larger than most one person bivvies.

It's not light or easy to do a quick move with, but you say that's not an issue.

I have been lucky with my sessions over the past couple of years since I've had it and only had to pack it away wet on a handful of occasions. When I've done that I've put it up in the back garden afterwards to dry it out—I'm not sure if you pack it away with the inner dome still attached (which I always do) it would dry just in an unzipped bag in the shed/garage.

The biggest recommendation I can give you is that if it blew into a lake tomorrow I'd immediately go out and buy another one.

Hi Everyone

I've been messing around for ages with the idea of a new bivvy. I currently have a tempest T100, which is great but wish it was sometimes just a fraction bigger.

I keeping going backwards and forwards between a Nash Titan T1 camo pro and Hide Camo Pro XL.

Weight isn't a massive concern, I'm just more interested what people who've got them think of them? I like the idea of having an inner capsule, but wondered how much of a nightmare it is to get dried out after a session. On the other hand, I normally do 48 hr stints, so also wonder if the T1 is overkill.

The Hide looks pretty good but is the vapour shield a waste of time meaning you'd really need to buy the full wrap, which makes it more expensive than the T1?

Thanks in advance from the bloke that can't make up his mind!
