If you look closely the bar underneath is wider with a different angle and sits lower down on the fox so better design.

The fox arm chair looks like an improvement on the solar. It has a lower bar so your legs shouldnt rest on the bar and looks like it has more padding on arms. It has proper camo pattern as well as solars id hideous.

I have had the Solar compact sofa chair for over a year now so I can tell you a few points. It is light for its size though maybe a bit bulky, but you can store things inside it! The seating material at the front sags over time to a point where you can feel the front bar on your legs. I bought a 2 inch foam cusion which solved the problem and seems to make the chair more comfortable. I have tried so many chairs and find the Solar one, despite its faults, to be the most comfortable for me with my bad back - but it is a personal thing - what suits one may not suit another! Hope this helps

It is a fair bit smaller than the full size one. I've got the compact one and think it's bang on.

It's not at all heavy for the size, though as mentioned, bit of a odd shape. Personally I had issues with lumbar support so we use a pillow on ours and the front sewn seem irritated the tendons and ligaments behind my knee at first.

A longer term observation, the padding in the arms could do with being stronger near where the elbow rests, I'm starting to feel the bar now. I'm wondering if the foam is starting to collapse. A zip under the arm pad which means you could pad it a bit more for your personal preference would be a good idea.

It weighs a ton and not easy to hold/carry. But it is so very very comfy.

Ive started using a shoulder strap which makes carrying it around easier without that it normally stays at home if I'm not using a barrow.

Worth considering no air vents so if you run hot this will make you run very hot.

But it is so very very very comfy

I've have mine for a while now , it's well-built and not too heavy and very
comfortable

Yesterday I sat in the Fox super deluxe armchair and found it even more comfortable than the Solar one.
