From what i can gather the current owners took over the place a couple of years ago and don't really know what's in there. I dont believe it's been re stocked ot last time I checked it hadn't
It's never been renowned for big carp, that's either because there are none or people keep it to themselves. It's rare things stay secret especially when wyreside is literally a stones throw away. Word would get round fast if all of a sudden 30s and 40s had been out. There was something about a small syndicate being put in place but not sure if that ever got off the ground
It's right next to the river as well and there are plenty of otters around, no idea if the place is fenced. If it's not then that will be why it's not been restocked
I'd say it's more of a weekend away with the Mrs in a cabin that just happens to be on a lovely lake. It's not what I would see as a proper carp water that has accommodation

Hi just wondered if anyone has any experience of this place ? Ive booked it for later in the year and cant find much info on it really. Looks like a pleasent place irrespective of the fishing but a bit of prior knowledge might be abonus
