I don't know for sure but I would imagine there probably are a few, used to be big matches held on Strathclyde loch with roach and perch in the main.I do know that the stretch of the Clyde alongside and below holds barbel again not loads but there was a salmon angler had a 16lb barbel while worming for salmon a few years ago .

Tell your mate he has a nice water 15/20 minutes from Kinross
https://scottishcarpgroup.co.uk/our-waters/kinghorn-loch/#1627491974666-d0fc7ddb-0cf4
He can join the Scottish carp group, an open access club with 5 waters in Scotland with kinghorn being the pick of the bunch.

In reply to Post #2 Legend, thanks very much. He’s near Kinross, so still a bit of a trek but not compared to most!

Hi all,
Does anyone know (and willing to share) where the lake(s) is in Myles Gibson’s latest sticky film please? Says they are near the Scottish border. It’s not actually for me but for a mate of mine who moved north of the border for the love of a good woman and os desperate for some quality fishing
DM if preferred.
Cheers
