In reply to Post #9 Thanks for not putting photos of your pod again I got in so much trouble with wife looking last time I can’t risk being caught again lol

Think I'll stick with my defiant carbon pod.....
|
|

I agree it is quite a smart looking pod but I can see with such short feet only really practical in the type of swim pictured, flat and manicured, most other situations will require sets of leg extensions which I'm sure solar Will be happy to relieve you of another £80-100 for front and back

I assume you can alter the spread of the legs and even put longer legs on the back if required. This would make it more versatile on uneven ground?

|

Really that looks hopeless, I will stick to my original Solar Sod Pod with tri-posts that I am sat behind now loads of adjustment with the extra outer legs and nice and weighty 😎

In reply to Post #8 That's a lot of dough with next to no adjustment for uneven ground. I like its look but I have a modified compact patriot pod already which is a pig on uneven ground to get your tips level.

In reply to Post #7

it looks nice to the eye, but you can see how unpractical it is even from their very own product pictures

In reply to Post #1 Blacklite be nice options too.
Do like look of it but cant use sticks separate so less versatile?
Bit of a weird company Solar. Not even on their own website. No videos yet.
Getting a big push on gear now it seems?

I remember the original Croc pod ,very smart, but hard to level on uneven ground ..
As someone who is Solar old skool through and through ,I'd avoid anything Solar right now ,this is because their customer service is very ,very poor..,or should I say non existional . !

I had an original one of these bloody awful it was with the cross bar and holes too small for the sticks, didn't even look like a croc 😂😂.
This new one looks nice, nothing like the original and gonna be well outside of my budget!

In reply to Post #1 That is a very sexy looking pod!
Swims on my lake are not quite flat enough for this, but damn, I still want one!

In reply to Post #2 Looks weird as uprights look far to long compared to the legs. Also looks like it needs to be on very level ground with those short legs and its a nightmare to try and get your tips level on this kind of pod without buzzbars which is why i went back to the original jag super compact pod, as still the best pod imo.
