Thanks for the feedback guys, much appreciated

I use Solar Stainless Quiverlocs a lot and they can exert quite a bit of force when they spring back, hence my Q. I actually had them walk out of a o-ring fitting when in France for a week, luckily it just fell on the bank (yes I know I could check them regularly, but I'll forget )

I use the old Solar kit off hockey sticks and the angle is just a little bit large for the Ql, it makes it try to creep down the line. The Korda ones look more of a acute angle and the adapters seem reasonably priced. I guess I should have bought the Solar Stainless Pozi Boss years ago, my own fault, prices now are silly. I could get the plastic ones but it might mess with my head

. . .they are convenient however - keep an eye on them as over time the inner gets rusty and the mag strength can deplete - I only know this having recently gone back to stows and using an original (first release) mk1 mag version on my small water set up . . . one of them flew off on the take but was luckily retrieved! I've since cleaned it up and its improved; like all things they don't last forever!

I use the korda mag hockey sticks and never had a problem with them coming apart.

I use them. The magnetic connection is fine, though they will come off under downwards tension. I bought a small zipped pouch on Amazon to keep the detached bobbins, chains etc in.

It works well, is preferable to having them continually attached in transit and means I can switch between 2 and 3 rod set ups without having to unscrew everything (I have both 2 rod bars and 3 rod bars with alarms and hockey sticks already attached, and it does make life easier.)

Wouldn't change back to screw in ones. Have a look on FB marketplace for various bits and pieces that people sell off as you'll save yourself a few quid.

Is anyone using the Korda magnetic hockey stick & adaptors, and if so, how strong would you say is the magnetic attraction between the 2?

Im asking as I'm considering using them, but I use Solar tension arms which are quite heavy and quite strong. I dont want them flicking off into the water
