I had a quick look round but couldn't find anything. Apart from contacting Korda maybe you could cannibalise a cheap chain set of eBay etc.

Could that burred end not be taken off carefully removed using a Dremel? Then just slide the pin out.

Thanks fellas, cutting the chain sounds the way forward. Where can I buy the new black male end which presumably will need a new pin which I'm hoping comes with it?

It'd be a it easier to just cut the chain that's for sure. Having looked at a image if you were intent on saving the extra couple of links you could drill out the flared end, personally I dont think its worth it.

Edit, new pic

you won’t be able to knock the pin out of the black and whites. one end has a head on it, and the other end is peened into place. when I converted mine to M5, I just cut the chain as close to the adapter as possible, then put the M5 male in place and inserted the pin.

I think your theory is right, maybe Keith @ Defiant MPS could adapt them for you. Maybe even get in touch with Korda and see if they'll supply the 2ba threaded adapter. I was looking at the Jag Safeliner the other day and while it uses a screw instead of pin its much the same.

Gents is there a way to modify the alarm end of a Korda Black and White bobbin chain so I can screw it in to a female 2BA thread. The chains come with a push and click fit and I want to change 3 of them so I can fit them to my Jag snag bars.

There's a little pin that locks the chain into the push fit spiggot and I'm guessing I need to knock that out to release the chain and refit it to a new threaded end?

Maybe there's someone that can do this far quicker than me faff about with three of these.

Any advice appreciated.
