In reply to Post #12 Heinz pasta sauces are low in sugar and aren't too bad compared to the usual offerings

In reply to Post #1 I have 2 shelves in my bait freezer full of meals for on the bank. When the Mrs cooks the tea she always makes too much, I then vacuum pack the leftovers and chuck them in the freezer, defrost on the bank and chuck in a pan of water to reheat, you could also freeze them in old takeaway tubs. Works for me.

In reply to Post #9 This is quick and tasty. Dry fry some minced beef until brown. Add a lug of red wine and reduce- optional. Stir in a good quality pasta sauce of your choice and then melt in a big lump of boursin. Enjoy with some crusty bread or pasta.

Bit of hot sauce

Do a search for One Pot meals. Plenty of choice there. My freezer is full of different dishes that i just reheat in the ridgemonkey on the bank.

In reply to Post #1 As per jimimak, so many curries and so many bad ones
I have far to many cook books but the Mrs must never be aloowed to say she's getting bored
If you like English Style Curry Shop Currys The New Curry Bible by Pat Chapman, honestly it's unbelievably good if you like them.
Malaysian Curry/recipies Amazing Malaysian, Norman Musa, some really nice dry currys in this book.
Madhur Jaffrey, I wouldn't shake a stick at her.
I can't find one of my books, Royal Indian (Maharajas) recipies, very different!
I wouldn't look past a nice Thai soup either. You can buy the base pastes for them in a jar and they are very good considering, when I'm feeling under the weather I always make one.

In reply to Post #4 This is the one LINKY POO™ https://glebekitchen.com/ I highly recommend his "hotel style" recipes. Couple of hours to make your base gravy but it will make between 6 and 8 curries (serving 2). Hands down better than any takeaway I've ever had

Ok, I'm after a bit of inspiration. I usually pre-cook a meal or 2 for the bank, and usually just heat up in a pan on the stove. My absolute favourite is a good curry. Found a website with some recipes that just blow me away.
Anyway, I dont just want curry, I want a bit of variety. Other than curry I dont really have many recipes that a re-heatable in a pan. So my question is, what's your favourite bankside food that can be reheated this way?
