In reply to Post #8 Nope, never got to the bottom of this. I turn up my heads as well as the receiver now, which I would really prefer not to do. Interesting to hear of one or two others experiencing this though....

In reply to Post #1 I had similar on a set. Sent receiver to dalectronics and he said the sealing in the board wasn't freat and had to reseal or something...I have noticed sometimes you only get 2 beeps instead of 3 when you switch heads off. On a side note I recently also thought the alarm head had broke but realised line was down side of roller! Dohh

In reply to Post #1 Did you ever get to the bottom of this? Same thing happened to me last night, although didn't lose a fish I went to re-do the rods and turned an alarm off and the receiver didnt do the security beeps, I pulled on the other 2 rods and the alarms sounded but nothing from the receiver, I turned the receiver off and back on and worked ok.
Obviously not confident now with them seems like a knackered receiver maybe....
ps I checked the night before and everything worked

In reply to Post #5 No, i use them on "night light" so visually assumed they were working at that point.
I've had them on for 72 hours now and no drop outs, so who knows what's going on.

Did you try if the alarms (signal) worked before going to sleep?

Most likely user error, not put the line through the sensors or something it happens.

Not had that problem (I use mine weekly)
Batteries?
Interference?

Hey all
Lost a fish on a particularly hard water Friday night because my RX+ remote didnt sound. When I woke and realised what had happened, the fish was long gone. Normally, I turn my heads right down and just use the remote....which seemed to lose connection with the heads. A quick "off and on again" of the remote seems to have sorted it out, but I wondered if anyone else has experienced this? Not very reassuring in case it happens again, so I will turn the heads up too as a back up - but would prefer not to have to.
Any advice?
Cheers
Chris
