I looked at them again and was considering buying another set. I was surprised at the price of them now considering they are bulk imported and tops/bottoms aren't built as a whole rod.
IMHO, I don't think they're worth a couple of hundred pounds a rod and believe if you shop around you could get far better for the same or maybe a little more money (i.e. Free spirit XS for £230 each) and as good for less (i.e. Kaizen Greens for £100 a pop).
But that's all subjective because it's your dollar so just make sure you give them a wiggle before you spend your hard earnt 🙂

In reply to Post #1 Yeah I’ve got the 12ft 3.25’s, lovely rods and will do everything you’ve just described with ease. Highly recommended.
Incidentally, mine are the original ones with green whippings and 40mm butt rings, but the blanks are the same on the newer “Black edition” version.

Ive got 10 footers in the same range , no issues at all, does everything i need when i decide to use them. Not exactly the same rod but i would happily use the ones you are looking as well.

Hi All,
Any users of these rods who can recommend them? I've not seen them in the flesh but they seem like they would fit the bill for what I'm looking for.
Max cast would be 120 yards (very occasionally) but more likely 80-100 yards max and the rest of the time under 15 wraps.
Shimano TX2 was the other I had narrowed it down to but have they changed these now?
TIA
