Grey is for gnd, or earth, on a solid type of boat. No need to connect it to anything on an inflatable. Black is negative, red is positive. 8mm ring crimps ideally but no problem to just trap the bare copper under the m8 bolt

Not sure on your question but the grey goes to the negative terminal. You don’t need to use any special terminals but I like to solder and shrink tube instead of crimping. Not sure of your battery size but cliplock boxes are great for keeping them in. If you message me I can send you some pictures

I'll send link for Screwfix you'll need some crimps and a crimping tool needs to put a crimp on the red and black cable then you can put the red to the positive (red) and the black to the negative(black) on the battery easy to do mate.

But depends what the terminals are on the battery you got a picture of it

Hello,

Have recently bought a Raymarine Element 7 fishfinder.

The cable is a NMEA 2000 cable with a red, black and grey smaller cables, ready to presumably wire them in to a boats power unit.

Any ideas the best and easiest way to wire it to a 12v lithium battery?

Thanks in advance 👍🏾
