I had been using no trace beads in a slightly moified setup.

Basically they were good but did not work 100% for the way i wanted to present the terminal rig.

Then found the below
Totally perfect design idea and kind of left me thinking why has it taken so long for someone to design and sell these.

(Not using Leadcore)

No trace beads for me all the way. One of my syndicates has a leader ban so I don't use lead core, or lead free anywhere near as much as I used to but when I do it's always with a no trace bead on it

Personally I won't use leadcore, but the No Trace beads have to be one of the best items of terminal tackle to have been developed. I use them whenever I use a naked chod.

When using a helicopter rig is there any reason to use the silicone and bead nowadays when no trace beads exist? Why do people still use the former when no trace beads are so much safer since they don't have to travel the full length of the leader?
