Quality gear Jeff, you won’t be disappointed

And edit - probably better a bit oversized for layering

Cheers mate, yeah i thought they were a bit heavy ,they are also a strange sizing im 46/48 chest and usually wear xl or even xxl but an xl drowned me ? I found the zip fiddly but always have on this type of clothing .

Using one now Jeff, the Velez adventure smock. Superb bit of kit, love it.

The material works completely different to gortex, it will absorb water but you will remain dry regardless of the weather, it is super breathable and they have good venting too which most shell jackets don’t. Excellent wind proofing too.

The only downside side for me, they are a little bit heavy compared to say a Gortex shell if you are taking a rucksack and the jacket as a precautionary measure.

Love mine, got the matching fleece which is expensive but it creates a year round piece of kit for uk mountaineering’, you can also add a body warmer etc if it’s super cold

Anyone use or used the clothing specifically the pajaro jacket that can give some feedback ? This is for hiking not fishing. Thanks
