Bumping this up, wondering if anyone has an active code Amazon discount code I can use.

Gerry's link still works, so if it was good enough for him then it'll do for me ❤️

I have one of the Pure Move T4 radios, but never use it - which reminds me I really should take it out of my bag.

Instead I prefer to use a Bluetooth speaker and just stream audio from my phone, mostly Global Player or Apple Music but I do have another radio app which will play pretty much anything broadcast from around the world.

The speaker I use is a JBL flip 5 - its small but big enough to sound pretty good, but keep the volume down so it's only just audible to me sitting in our just outside the front of my bivvy, but I find the audio quality so much better than a small radio, plus the flexibility to stream anything to it including films from my iPad.

Admittedly I have an unlimited data tariff for my phone so data isn't an issue but might be a consideration for others that aren't on an unlimited data tarriff - but a much better setup than a simple radio

What's the length of time between charges? That's what I miss with the pure move, 35hrs of play and no battery drain when not being used unlike the August radio

I lost my Pure Move on a recent session, it had been faultless but I cannot find it for the life of me so reckon I left it at the lake, (I usually listen to the radio whilst packing up and leave it in the swim somewhere) or it has dropped out of the car as I have been putting gear in and out.

I went for the i-box barrel one Gerry recommended, very impressed. Sound quality is much better than the Move.

I mostly fish days only so radio last about 15-20 hours I reckon but can always top up if needed. Splahproof, neat and really easy to use. I’ve had loads of dabs and this is by far the best, roberts pocket ones, pure move where the rechargeable battery pack lasted less than 6 months. I love it’s simplicity, presets, size, sound and volume controls. The only thing I would change is some of the scores they announce for my team, surely that is wrong…

I didn’t think the battery life was great and the charging point broke on mine after a couple of months. It was ok for what it cost but would rather spend more on a better radio.

What's the battery life, used to own a pure move till it fell to pieces, my favourite radio ever. The August dab radio bought under recommendation from here has poor battery life and loses charge even if not being used

I also went with Gerry’s and took this as last weekend sat there and thought of him whilst it was on, battery life is good between charges, simple pre sets I love it

Had one of these for ages - hasn't self destructed yet! Does need sporadic mid session charging with a power pack but sound is good for LBC / Talksport / Rad 4 (dont listen to music when fishing)

Daz I really am sorry you feel that way ? ( I didnt know radio x was on both sorry)

I didn't think it was personal ? I simply wanted to point out the pro`s and Cons as its important to know the full facts when spending your hard earned
I TRY not to recommend anything that I dont have personal knowledge of and spend hours researching stuff and finding the best prices etc to help people
these are just 4 DAB radios I still have left
I got 2 or 3 other small non dab radios in my shed and have owned other DAB radios and given them away
and I think the little barrel radio is the best of the bunch

Why do you always take things so personal, you had radio X on your list as not available, I merely pointed out that it is, that might be a deciding factor for someone, like it would me, so now he has more accurate info. We're all just trying to help each other after all, it's not a competition.

On my second Pure Move as the first one ended up in the river! Casting a barbel rod, hooklength actually caught the nipple on the ariel!

Well thats great for you then but not everyone is like you a one station man

so its VERY important when you recommend something you point out the good points (battery life)
BUT point out the massive Bad points too as someone that for instance like me that likes talkSPORT2 and boom radio etc would be pretty pissed of buying a pue move and finding you cant listen to is as its not on there

I have owned and loved a Pure Move since it first came out

right up UNTIL DAB bought out DAB PLUS !!!!!!!!!!!!! then most of the stations I listen too moved to it and the Pure move cant pick them up anymore
making the Move useless to me sadly
IMHO
THIS IS THE WAY FORWARD

Keep checking eBay for a pure move 400D, you'll get at least 48 hours continuous play out of it.

I've got this model, tiny, good enough for fishing, the battery will last long enough to lull you to sleep and for about 10 hours (guesstimate).
