In reply to Post #18 I've got the xlite level bed, light & comfy, only downside for me is short legs on uneven banks.
Hunt the stone is often played

All elastic replaced by 4 mm paracord.
Remove 3 rd leg.
Made new 3rd leg using 22mm pipe fitting / camera adapter and jag bank stick.

Just completed a quick project on my jrc and got it down to 5.5 kg.

In reply to Post #1 Like others I opted for the one Gerry recommended, a wychwood one with a sim. I already had the sim so reduced the cost further. I tightened the elastic a little on mine to make it a bit harder, as I had the sim for comfort.

In reply to Post #8 Also have one of these, very comfortable given the weight but the legs don't have a lot of adjustment for uneven ground, quite often have to seek the help of a friendly stone

In reply to Post #8 Also got one and much easier to carry than the trakker rlx despite being a very similar weight.

In reply to Post #1 Jrc xlite flat bed is what I have
Very light and comfortable it's quite low to the ground but that's one reason why I bought it 👍

In reply to Post #6 I've used a benchmark life for years now, replaced the ropes with cable ties which saves about a kilo.
Sleep system weighs about 8-9kg, I use the heated mattress early spring and a Gardner cover through the winter and it's still only around 12-13kg

In reply to Post #1 Avid Benchmark Lite? Had mine 4 years now and much prefer it to the Benchmark mk2 I had before it. That was insanely heavy and the weird leg spacings made it a pain to get on the barrow. I'm a side sleeper and prefer the lite as it has a bit of give in it, making it more comfy for side sleeping. I'm only 5'7” and 13st though. The bed on its own weighs 6.5kg from memory.

In reply to Post #1 Another vote for the Wychwood Tactical X
Super light at 7.5kg
I'm 6,1, 16 stone and a side sleeper and comfort is ok, I used to use a Mountain Equipment Helium 3.8 SIM, but found it too inslating in the warmer months.
Without it its ok for a couple of nights.

Trakker RLX6, I am about your size and height and done me fine for 3 seasons already.

I use a trakker rlx superlite there around 7kg I think.
I'm 6ft 2 it's ok.

In reply to Post #1 Might be a little short (I'm 6'1" and its fine) but for lightweight / flatness and value the Wychwood Tactical X Compact is a good choice (7.5kg) - use mine on the rivers / quick overnighters travelling light etc. Ideally needs a SIM but for 24hrs doable without . .
Tactical X Standard 'was' my previous session bedchair but replaced with SP-CTech which is only marginally more comfy but significantly heavier!

Hi all.
I have recently sent back my second fox duralite due to issues with the legs. This time I have asked for a refund as the design/manufacturing is obviously poor.
So I'm in the market for a good quality lightweight sleep system or bedchair. I'm 6'3 and 15 stone. The duralite was a squeeze but ok size wise.
Has anyone got any recommendations, tried and tested over a decent period of time ideally.
Cheers.
