I found Amazon had a 4 pack of the AirTags for £99 so got myself a pack.

Arrived at home today, but I am away for work so will stick 1 in each car and one in the fishing gear on my return

They are very worthwhile when I travel overseas on business I can track my stowed luggage as it makes the way to the plane and when I land to the carousel.

Small price to pay for the chance of a successful recovery.

Nice, hopefully they get most it not all of it back.

Makes me think I should get some Apple AirTags. When I had my van broken into a few years ago my work bag was stolen.
It had GoPro, Nexus tablet and an old/spare iPhone 5 in it.

Thanks to the thief being a retard they turned the phone on when they got home and I gave the police the address. The police immediately got a search warrant as the occupier of that house had form for breaking into cars.

I got the Nexus tablet and a load of the personal items back. The phone and GoPro had gone.

Apple Air Tag batteries last for a long time...if they were concealed in the luggage you could watch that AirTags movement and let the police know where the kit was.

I've contacted Hatfield police station and have informed them that I know of the whereabouts.

Let's hope someone gets their gear back.

Yep it's true.

He's offered me about £5000.00 worth of gear for £1000.00

There's a ton of gear, rods, bite alarms the works.

Most of my gear is top end and I don't need / want anymore gear!

It just Fûçkž me off with dirty thieves.

If this is true then fair play for putting it out there.
